Well here it is, my first post.
The aim of this blog is to cover the happenings and epic sights I will encounter during my trip to the ancient city of Rome. The trip will be my first visit to the eternal city and has been a dream of mine for a couple of years now. I got a great deal on the flights with Jet2 totalling £130 for a return flight, and an even better deal on the hotel courtesy of easytobook.com which came to £105 for 3 nights at the hotel Saturnia, which is a stones throw away from the Terminia Rail station and a walkable stroll from landmarks such as the colosseum and the forum which will come in handy!
I fly next weds (23rd July) and return on the 26th, so I guess I should get planning my trip using google earth to see where all the important landmarks are situated, and if anyone who has been and knows the true location of Caesars assassination (Ive been informed its very skeptical) let me know.
